Lovely models. I have a few of your models, the latest being the XB70 Valkyrie, a stunning model.

Hi all Westway models are great, but I am still waiting for my refurbished 1:72 Qantas 747 cutaway model Sam and Doug started over 2 years ago ....I never heard anything else from Westway after all this time and numerious attempts to contact them...and I am still wondering what ever happened? I am so saddened and disappointed about never getting my dream model. I am hoping they will complete it one day but I fear I have lost my money.
Here are some pics of the unfinished product for which I put down a 50% work start deposit of 1165 pounds sterling and never received anything for..https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0O...ew?usp=sharing

Hi Otavio Santos. It is a Qantas 747 like the one Air Jamaica 727 has in the old Qantas ochre stripe... Refurbished from an old resin 1970s Walker-Westway BA or BOAC 1:72 model. It was supposed to have one solid side and one cutaway side with repainted interior details. Westway were working quite well on it as you can see they sent me an update but after I asked for some of the colours of the seats to be changed it may have gotten all to hard for them and sadly I think I lost my money. They don't answer emails nor calls. So I am at a loss... Quite dishonest really. Never thought it would come to this as Mr Dunn sounds like a really nice man. Shame. I will be happy to show you and post images of the 1:50 cutaway wood model I am having done of the same aircraft in wood by a licensed Qantas model maker in the Philippines...

Sad. I confess I have been thinking about requesting a VARIG DC10 cutaway model for them but will fold this plans after your comments. Crossing fingers they got back to you and solve this issue.

BTW I'd love to see the pictures. santosaviation@terra.com.br

No hurry

Otavio...I don't want to discredit Westway as their work is excellent. The way the business is run however leaves a lot to be desired. So if you do order from them don't do what I did and pay by direct transfer! You may never see your money again and you will be at their mercy (by the way this has happened to other people too upon reading other forums), so pay with Paypal or Credit card if you go ahead and make sure what you want is a model they have already got parts for or already have made a few copies of. Customization did not work in my case! I would still like them to finish off what they started. I will send you pics of my model being made as soon as it progresses more!

That's shocking, come on Westway tell us what has happened !!

Such treatment is unacceptable, but of course we need to hear your side of the story.
