Yikes! June is almost here! My miniature airline has an airshow scheduled for October. I still have a diorama to build for it. First things first, though. Time to finish the hangar. Got a tailwind earlier in the week and really got after it. Basic structure with lights is complete. Still need to fabricate a sliding door set, finish and paint it. But she's a getting there...

FAA is already on site monitoring progress. GJ 1:400 CV-580, registration N49.

That's a really nice little hanger. Be interesting to see how your sliding door works out!

Thanks, Andy and Tiger. Before I forget, Andy, here is your reminder to add lights to your dio.

Item of possible interest-My companion picked up some remote operated LED candles at Home Depot for a project she is working on. Possibly remote operated candles have utility use for building lighting on dioramas? Does away with those pesky wires and switches.

Finalizing my diorama project. At 2ft x 4ft, fabrication is not so much a problem as storage when not in use. Leaning toward two 2ft x 2ft fitted together. Disguising the seam is the challenge. Still thinking on it.

Cheers

Hi Arnold, Added two of them to Hangar 1. Just a battery with a LED, with a piece of tape on/off. Lot of changes since I last posted it, will share later. Special aircraft inside
